The third year, I returned to the woods as a bloody bride. The wagons drove past a wedding scene where a violent massacre had occurred, including a mutilated groom. The riders, set on edge by the gore, crept around a corner where I ran screeching from the woods, bloody knife in one hand and a bouquet of dead flowers in the other. For the part, I bought a thrift store Victorian wedding gown and splashed it generously with red. Under the moonlight, with the white veil and my lovely long train, the effect was beautiful. I never failed to scare!
